Job summary

Candidates should have a STEM BS and 5+ years of relevant experience, strong math skills, flight-test exposure, and proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C++/FORTRAN/Ada. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, physics, CS, applied math or similar STEM field.
• Strong mathematical capabilities incl. linear algebra, dynamics, state estimation.
• Experience with simulation environments (6-DOF IFS, HWIL, flight test).
• Proficiency in SW development environments like Git; languages include MATLAB, Python, C++, FORTRAN or Ada.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; works well in a team.
• US citizenship; Secret Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, verify and test guidance, navigation and control algorithms for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles and upper stages.
• Contribute to control design and analyses for spaceflight missions and staging events.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure robust mission success.
