Relativity Space is seeking a GTAW welder for the Fluids Factory in Long Beach. You will perform manual and semi-automatic welding of aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and related alloys on complex fuel and oxidizer flow paths, ensuring parts meet drawings and specs.

Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM PT, Monday–Friday, with a baseline 50-hour week and occasional overtime. You bring 3+ years of GTAW welding experience, strong preparation and joint fitting skills, and the ability to work at heights and

Qualifications

3+ years performing GTAW welding on materials such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Inconel, (and related alloys).
Strong preparation and joint fitting skills for welding.
Solid documentation skills and ability to follow work instructions and part drawings.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with welding and engineering teams to develop and perform GTAW weld processes on aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel.
Prepare tooling and parts by trimming, beveling, cleaning, aligning, assembling, and tack welding; load/unload with cranes or forklifts; perform dimensional inspections.
Identify and resolve manufacturing process issues; implement improvements with engineering.
Promote safety, precision, and right-first-time culture on the shop floor.
Foster an inclusive environment and support 5S-based shop organization.
