Job summary

Open Scientific is seeking a GT Clearance Engineer in West Palm Beach, Florida. This full-time role involves performing evaluations and leading the design of clearance control systems for gas turbines. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of experience in gas turbines, and strong design knowledge.

The position offers an A+ work environment at a globally recognized organization. Candidates with a Master’s degree and proficiency in computational modeling tools will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of successful experience in gas turbine.
• Minimum 5 years of successful experience in GT clearance.
• Experience in whole engine modeling and clearance control system design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform system level clearance evaluations using whole engine model.
• Lead design of clearance control systems such as ACC, PCC or HCO.
• Develop risk assessments and participate in root-cause investigations.
