Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level III to repair and maintain a range of ground service equipment for airline operations. You will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5 years of verified experience, own tools, and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays. Excellent English communication and the ability to read manuals are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• 5 years of verified experience required.
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• Regular, predictable attendance at job location.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs - as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so shifts including nights, weekends and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain motorized and non-motorized Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers and describe work performed on each piece.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, overhaul or modify engines and transmissions.
• Inspect electrical, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose problems and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Test components and equipment, and complete related paperwork.
