Job summary

Monzo is seeking a senior designer to shape our web experiences and drive user value. You will combine strong visual and interaction craft with a data-informed mindset to iteratively improve the customer journey across onboarding, discovery and beyond.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Research to define product visions, run experiments, and ship impactful experiences. A focus on AI-enabled design and scalable systems will be key.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing high-quality web experiences with a strong portfolio.
• Comfortable using data to inform design decisions and measure impact.
• Able to translate customer problems into testable hypotheses and experiments.
• Provide exceptional visual and interaction craft across web experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data and Research to align on goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high-quality web experiences that communicate value to users.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Turn business problems into hypotheses and run experiments to learn.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver coherent, long-term user experiences.
• Mentor and share design work to grow the Design team.
