Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned strategy consultant to help clients grow through rigorous analysis and clear storytelling. You will translate data into actionable recommendations, guide project workstreams, and build strong client relationships.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to proposals and business development efforts, leveraging segmentation and demand-space approaches to drive value.

Qualifications

• Experience applying strategic consulting, consumer strategy, market research or insight to growth questions.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret data.
• Ability to turn complex information into concise, actionable recommendations for senior clients.
• Experience planning and managing project workstreams.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse primary and secondary data to answer client questions and identify meaningful growth opportunities.
• Apply segmentation and strategic frameworks to understand demand, evaluate opportunities and inform brand and portfolio decisions.
• Manage project workstreams to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Maintain clarity on responsibilities and progress.
• Craft clear, evidence-led narratives leading to implications, recommendations and practical action.
• Build effective client relationships through day-to-day engagement and understanding of clients' commercial context.
• Contribute evidence and compelling content to proposals, pitches and business development activity.
• Support junior colleagues by sharing expertise, setting expectations and providing actionable feedback.
