Job summary

Uber’s Strategy & Planning team seeks a seasoned strategist to turn complex market challenges into actionable roadmaps. Lead analytics, partner with Operations, Finance, Growth, and Product to drive growth and profitability, and shape Uber’s future at a global scale.

You’ll own analytical rigor, build reporting models, and develop frameworks for new markets and products while balancing aggressive growth with sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the role or related field.
• SQL for database queries; scalable analysis in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, confidence intervals.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure performance by product and commercial teams.
• Define product specifications and user experiences.
• Analyze and visualize large data volumes to generate insights with BI tools.
• Coordinate projects using Google/Microsoft Suite; strong slide/deck delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic decision-making through analytics and an operational mindset.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Growth, and Product teams to design and implement projects.
• Provide analysis on strategic decisions to grow Uber's business.
• Develop analytical frameworks for new markets and products.
• Measure impact and efficiency of support delivery processes to drive value.
• Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models for expansion efforts.
• Identify operational weaknesses and support new process innovations.
• May telecommute.
