Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of financial underwriting experience with Group Life, STD, LTD and Leave products for employer groups >1,000 lives (or 5 years with 2 years for >1,000 lives).
• Knowledge of underwriting policies, procedures and governance tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality underwriting support and guidance to customers and distributors.
• Maintains distributor relationships by ensuring correct evidence and rating decisions.
• Reviews information and advises on procedural and regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to development of underwriting standards and procedures to meet business goals.
• Implements improvements to underwriting processes and risk assessment.
