Job summary

Broylman Memorial Group seeks a Superintendent for Grounds Keeping & Landscape to oversee maintenance and aesthetic quality across properties. You will lead a team of groundskeepers, coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and train staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in groundskeeping/landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, turf management, and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with safe operation of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily groundskeeping and landscaping activities to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for lawns, gardens, trees, and other landscape features.
• Manage and train groundskeeping staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring proper use and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with property management and external vendors to plan and execute landscaping projects and seasonal enhancements.
• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, fertilizers, and materials required for grounds maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices related to pesticide use, irrigation, and waste management.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
