Astrion is seeking an Advanced Ground Test Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Ground Test Directorate. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing ground tests, including HWIL and distributed tests, under the supervision of Mission Directors and MD/MTD.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
• MS in Engineering with 10 years of professional experience; a BS with 15 total years may be substituted for the MS degree requirement.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground Test environment and distributed testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ground test planning and execution tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with internal MDA cross-functional elements and external stakeholders; present technical and executive briefings.
• Support multiple efforts simultaneously, independently or with a team.
• Assist the ground test team to resolve issues during test planning, integration, execution, and analysis.
• Establish priorities and manage activities in accordance with approved Ground Test issuances; track test observations and lessons learned.
• Lead weekly Integration Event Test Team (IETT) planning meetings and manage facilities/conference room scheduling.
• Review and develop end-of-day situation reports and submit all test data to the Missile Defense Agency Data Distribution Center (MDDC).
