Job summary

Varda Space Industries seeks an experienced software engineer for the Mission Software team. You will work on the ground segment software to enable spacecraft operations, telemetry, and data distribution, with hands-on flight-software integration.

You will build reliable services, operator interfaces, and CI/CD tooling, supporting simulations and mission-control workflows in a tightly coupled environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in safety-critical software for spacecraft or similar systems.
• Strong Python skills and real-time data handling experience.
• Solid foundations in concurrency, networking, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own ground-segment services for telemetry ingestion, distribution, and commanding.
• Deliver operator-grade UIs and dashboards to optimize operations.
• Build tools for flight-software simulations and test automation.
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for deployment.
• Develop and productionize mission and ground software platforms.
