Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to lead ground system analysis, design, and integration efforts on national space programs. You will drive agile and DevSecOps practices, define system interfaces, and guide cross-disciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or mathematics and 12+ years of space-ground systems experience with strong leadership and IV&V
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or mathematics.
- 12+ years’ experience with multiple ground systems aspects.
- Strong leadership and IV&V familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and recommend innovative solutions for ground system requirements and design.
- Establish Agile and DevSecOps development methods and metrics.
- Define integration plans for space-to-ground and ground-to-ground.
- Design and develop mission-critical interfaces for space ground control.
- Lead engineering teams by defining tasking and monitoring deliverables.
- Develop and analyze system requirements for models, test beds, and end-to-end testing.
- Provide expert technical guidance to government customers.
