Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Ground Systems Integration Engineer (GSIE) to provide SEIT expertise across the full life cycle from procurement to Operations & Maintenance (O&M). The role focuses on ground C2 software, hardware, ADPE, and network integration, spanning bare metal and virtual environments.

You will support a government program office, coordinate with multiple sites, perform test oversight, requirements verification, and participate in program management reviews to ensure schedule

Qualifications

• Acquisition activities: requirements development and assessment
• Technical evaluations of proposals
• ECP development and change management
• Hardware/software integration management
• Factory testing to site implementation
• Space-ground systems architectures and life cycle support
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support software procurement from requirements through test, sell-off and installation at multiple sites
• Assist design of computer architectures for ground C2 systems
• Evaluate hardware obsolescence and replacement options
• Provide program status feedback and participate in reviews
• Coordinate with SED, GED, MOD and ground elements across sites
• Attend system design and program management reviews
• Witness ground systems testing and correlate post-test data
