Chipton-Ross is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-phase ground system development, requirements analysis, interface design, and verification activities.

The role emphasizes system and software integration, testing, and demonstrations within an agile environment to ensure customer requirements are met, with a focus on delivering robust aerospace ground solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Experience in verification and test of ground software Command and Control (C2) systems.
• 14+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge ground systems in an agile environment and analyze system requirements.
• Define interface design documents and support architecture and design of ground systems.
• Perform software system integration, test, verification, and demonstrations to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Contribute to requirements management, risk management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to optimize system of systems and satisfy mission goals.
