Job summary

Sceye is seeking a Principal Software Architect to design and lead a modular, scalable ground software architecture for fleet management. You will own the nervous system of our operations, ensuring 24/7 global flight readiness and secure ground automation across cloud, edge, and aircraft compute.

You will drive architectural vision for distributed systems, lead security with Zero-Trust and PKI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, high-availability solutions for

Qualifications

• Experience architecting geographically replicated systems for high availability.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, serverless computing, and Protobuf communication.
• Extensive experience with SRE, DevSecOps, and Chaos Engineering.
• Deeply familiar with Zero-Trust and PKI implementations.
• Proven leadership in architectural design for complex, high-risk systems.
• Clear, effective communication across cross-functional teams.
