EVONA in Westminster, CO is seeking a Senior Ground Software Engineer to join a growing space-tech team responsible for ground software supporting spacecraft command and control, telemetry processing and mission operations.

You will design and develop scalable ground software, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and contribute to the reliability and operational readiness of mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, C++ or Java in production software environments.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and real-time telemetry is preferred.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain ground software for spacecraft command and control, telemetry processing and mission operations.
• Develop scalable applications in Python, C++ and other languages.
• Build real-time telemetry processing, data management and visualization capabilities.
• Support integration of ground station infrastructure and spacecraft interfaces.
• Develop automated monitoring, testing and operational tools to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with flight software, systems engineering and hardware teams for smooth integration.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation and process improvements.
