You will lead architecture, DevSecOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and secure cross-domain development environments, coordinating with government and mission partners to enable secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a Senior Platform Integration & Architecture Manager to support the Merigold program, providing senior SETA systems engineering and technical integration support for enterprise software development platforms within the Ground Enterprise Directorate. This role serves as a senior technical integrator across development environments operating at multiple security levels, helping the Government architect, modernize, automate, and sustain secure, interoperable platform capabilities that enable software development and delivery across the enterprise.

You will provide technical leadership across platform architecture, DevSecOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure and configuration automation, artifact and source-code management, software dependencies, FOSS and OEM lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and secure multi-domain development environments. You will work across Government organizations, platform teams, developers, cybersecurity professionals, infrastructure providers, and mission partners to identify dependencies and ensure individual platform decisions support a cohesive enterprise development ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical architecture expertise with systems engineering leadership. You understand how development platforms actually operate - from infrastructure and software dependencies through security boundaries, patching, data movement, and developer workflows - and can translate that understanding into sound enterprise architecture and Government decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SETA systems engineering, architecture, and integration support for enterprise software development platforms and capabilities.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to Government leadership on platform architecture, modernization, integration, security, and technical risk.
• Assess enterprise platforms, development environments, tools, technologies, and engineering approaches to support secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
• Identify technical dependencies, integration challenges, architectural gaps and modernization opportunities and develop recommended solutions and implementation approaches.
• Lead the development and evaluation of system architectures, technical designs, engineering strategies, requirements, roadmaps, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate complex engineering and integration activities across Government organizations, development teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, acquisition, and other mission and technical stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor technical personnel and support engineering reviews

Qualifications

• Must possess and have the ability to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
• BS 12-15 yrs of experience, or MS 10-13 yrs of experience, or finally PhD 10+ yrs of experience or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Extensive experience architecting or integrating complex software development platforms, enterprise infrastructure, or software-intensive systems.
• Experience with development environments operating across multiple security domains.
• Strong understanding of secure cross-domain architectures, security boundaries, interfaces, and data movement.
• Experience with FOSS and commercial/OEM software integration, patching, lifecycle management, and technical dependencies.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and DevSecOps environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical integration efforts and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to advise senior Government stakeholders on architecture, technical risk, and enterprise integration decisions.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM discipline.
• Intelligence Community or DoD platform engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud, hybrid-cloud, air-gapped, or multi-enclave development environments.
• Experience with enterprise DevSecOps, automation, and platform technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, OpenShift, or comparable technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise platform modernization, consolidation, software supply-chain security, Zero Trust, or secure cross-domain capabilities.

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Min: $146,322.15 Max: $254,425.83
