Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional pet grooming experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a grooming or pet care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in breed-specific cuts, hand-scissoring, and finishing techniques.
• Strong animal handling skills with a calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service grooming on dogs of all breeds and sizes, including bathing, drying, trimming, and styling.
• Lead, mentor, and support grooming staff to ensure quality and consistency of services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior.
• Assist in scheduling grooming appointments and managing salon workflow for efficiency.
• Monitor and report supply inventory, placing orders as needed to keep the salon fully stocked.
• Handle pets with care and compassion, identifying health or behavioral concerns and escalating as appropriate.
