Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of electric utility experience in Substation/Distribution P&C preferred.
• Experience with feeder, transformer, and protective Relay schemes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of protection, automation, and control solutions for distribution substations and feeders.
• Coordinate Beckwith product approvals with electric utility customers via proofs-of-concept, testing, pilot/field installations and training.
• Develop Customer Requirements Documents (CRDs) based on customer feedback (VOC) and serve as the technical application lead for product development.
• Present technical papers at industry conferences (e.g., GTaTech, Distributech, T&D).
• Provide expert support for application, installation, and maintenance of Beckwith products, including protective relays and recloser/switch/sectionalizer controls.
• Support sales with technical presentations, proposal development, and RFP responses; act as SME for engagements.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the US approximately 50% of the time.
