Job summary

ISO New England Inc. is seeking an engineer or analyst to support capacity adequacy and accreditation initiatives.

The role involves simulations with GE MARS, SERVM, and PLEXOS, coordinating across ISO, NEPOOL, and committees, and delivering written reports on studies and methodologies. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Graduate degree in engineering, science, statistics, or related field is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bulk power system simulations using industry standard software tools (GE MARS, SERVM, PLEXOS).
  • Lead and facilitate work across ISO, participants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare clear written reports documenting objectives, methodologies, results, and recommendations.
  • Support regional and national committees, task forces, and working groups as required.
  • Respond to data requests from reliability organizations and regulators.
  • Communicate complex analyses to diverse stakeholder audiences.
