Senior GRC & Compliance Accountant

Job summary

ProMach seeks a Senior Compliance Accountant to partner with the Director of Accounting & Compliance to strengthen ProMach's governance, risk, and compliance program through process improvement, control optimization, and scalable GRC tools.

The role documents key processes, supports control design and testing, remediation activities, and maintains GRC documentation and tools, while serving as a detail-oriented contributor to the finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting, GRC, internal controls, public accounting, and/or public company experience.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading projects and managing task plans.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maturity of ProMach’s GRC program across enterprise-wide areas.
• Document key business processes with narratives, risk and control matrices, and flowcharts.
• Design and support monitoring activities to ensure policy and control adherence.
• Monitor regulations and accounting pronouncements; advise on GRC impacts.
• Lead training sessions on GRC documentation, policies, and system usage.
• Assist with Workiva implementation and ongoing administration.
