Job description

Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It's been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we're still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We're wondering "what if..." anticipating what's next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands.

Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. We are a collective of dreamers and thinkers, doers, and makers... and we're searching for more of the same to join the ranks.

The Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role is responsible for developing compelling visual communications across print, digital, environmental, and social media channels. The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with exceptional executional skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in shaping creative solutions that engage audiences, elevate brands, and support business objectives while mentoring junior designers and contributing to overall creative excellence.

The Job:

Creative Development

  • Develop innovative creative concepts and design solutions across multiple mediums.
  • Design marketing collateral, presentations, event graphics, environmental graphics, and large-format applications.
  • Translate strategic objectives into engaging visual communications.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and deliverables.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic creative thinking.

Digital & Social Content

  • Create engaging social media content including static posts, stories, reels, and short-form video assets.
  • Develop digital graphics for websites, email campaigns, digital advertising, and online experiences.
  • Stay current with social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats.
  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to optimize visual performance across channels.

Production & Execution

  • Prepare production-ready files for print, fabrication, and digital deployment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with production, account, and project management teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Review proofs and provide quality control throughout production processes.
  • Present creative concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative directors, copywriters, strategists, project managers, and production teams.
  • Contribute to establishing best practices, workflows, and creative standards.

The Person:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across print, digital, environmental, and social media design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience creating content for social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Motion graphics and video editing experience in After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
  • Experience developing large-format graphics, experiential environments, tradeshow exhibits, or event branding is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while working independently and collaboratively.
  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.

What we offer:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective within 30 days (or less) of your start date
  • 401K matching with no vesting period (you are fully vested as of day 1)
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid Holidays
  • Collaborative Work Environment

Collective Culture Core Values:

We recognize that the success of our business rests with the skills and efforts of our people, and in return for their contributions, our employees can expect a flexible work environment that delivers on the 10 principles that define our company culture:
