Philadelphia Union is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to contribute to the creative team, concept, design, and execute across digital, social, print, advertising, ticket sales, partnerships, events, merchandise, and more.

Reporting to the Senior Creative Director, this role will independently take projects from concept through final delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive visual identity in a fast-paced sports environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within sports, entertainment, media, agency, or another fast-paced consumer brand environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design execution, conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, typography, layout, branding, and digital design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to independently manage creative projects from concept through final production.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and high-quality work.
  • Creative, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior contributor within the creative team, taking ownership of assigned projects from concept through final execution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, recommend creative solutions, and translate business needs into visual communications.
  • Work with the Senior Creative Director to maintain a cohesive visual identity across platforms and campaigns.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high creative quality.
  • Present and articulate creative concepts, recommendations, and design rationale to internal stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback while applying strong creative judgment to maintain brand integrity.
  • Review and proof materials for accuracy, brand consistency, and production quality prior to delivery.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, printers, and production partners to ensure accurate execution of creative materials.
