Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to create compelling visual content across print and digital media. You will design layouts, packaging, and marketing collateral while maintaining brand consistency, collaborating with product designers, writers, creative directors, and engineers.

The role requires 25+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. This 12-month remote W2 contract offers a 40-hour work week, Mon-Fri.

In this role, you will bring exceptional artistic vision, adaptability, and high-level strategy to design layouts, packaging, advertising, and marketing collateral while maintaining brand consistency and design quality. You will collaborate closely with product designers, writers, creative directors, and software engineers to transform complex concepts into polished deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Design & Visual Content

• Conceptualize and produce layouts, visual assets, artwork, and simple animations for print and digital platforms.
• Interpret and apply brand guidelines fluently across diverse product and marketing ecosystems.
• Select and arrange visual elements, create illustrations, choose typography, and build cohesive color palettes.
• Maintain comprehensive design systems, assets for development handoffs, mockups, and clickable prototypes.

Collaboration & Production

• Conduct press checks for printed deliverables to ensure color accuracy and production standards.
• Partner closely with Product Designers on wireframes, design decisions, and smooth asset handoffs to engineering teams.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional partners, including writers, production artists, art directors, and creative directors.

Design Research & Leadership

• Conduct mid-level design research, including competitive analysis, A/B testing, and accessibility checks.
• Lead team process initiatives, drive communication with stakeholders, and help establish design best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience & Portfolio

• 25+ years of professional expertise in graphic design across digital and print media.
• Strong portfolio showcasing extensive graphic design capability, end-to-end project delivery, and diverse creative work.
• Proven agility and adaptability to pivot across shifting business needs, emerging technologies, and fast-paced environments.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard graphic design and prototyping software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Deep mastery of fundamental design principles, layout, visual hierarchy, and typography.
• Hands-on experience with design delivery, research methods, accessibility standards, and developer handoffs.
• Direct experience with print production processes and press checks.
