Job summary

Engineered Floors LLC is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer in Dalton, GA to create visuals supporting campaigns and brand identity across channels. You will handle artwork, asset management, proofreading, and social graphics.

Requirements include an Associates degree or higher in Digital/Graphic Design and 5+ years with Adobe Creative Suite; you should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Digital Design or Graphic Design is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and other CC apps).
• Must be well organized and self-motivated.
• Must be willing to learn and take direction well.
• Must work with a high degree of precision and detail.
• Must understand pixel resolutions and how to convert file formats for print and web.
• Must be able to work under extreme time factors.
• Must have excellent word processing, spreadsheet, and database management skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Use design principles to develop exclusive visuals for flooring products and prepare artwork for internal approval.
• Assist in organizing, color correction, and resizing of marketing assets.
• Provide proofreading, fact checking, copy writing, editing, and formatting for new marketing materials.
• Create social graphics based on calendars from Content Marketing Manager & Digital Media Strategist.
• Develop digital materials for trade shows, corporate meetings, conferences, and training.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaigns.
• Create animated graphics or short videos for digital platforms.
• Maintain and update design files and templates for campaigns.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content meets specifications.
• Assist with miscellaneous marketing projects and provide day-to-day marketing support.

Job description

The Senior Graphic Designer role is responsible to create compelling visuals that support campaigns, internal initiatives, and brand consistency contributing to a wide range of design projects while upholding our visual identity across all channels. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Use artistic skills and design principles to develop exclusive visuals for desired flooring products and prepare artwork for internal approval
• Assist in managing the organization, color correction, and resizing of all marketing assets (product scans, product photography, room renderings, designer palettes, logos, website imagery, digital media, etc.)
• Provide accurate and timely proofing, fact checking, copy writing, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of new marketing materials for a product launch
• Create social media graphics based on calendars provided by the Content Marketing Manager and Digital Media Strategist
• Create and develop digital materials for trade shows, corporate meetings, conferences, and training needs
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns
• Create animated graphics or short videos for digital platforms
• Maintain and update design files and templates for various marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure digital content meets specifications
• Assist the Content Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager with miscellaneous marketing projects
• Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Associates degree or higher in Digital Design or Graphic Design is required
• 5+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe CC Apps)
