Job summary

Marklund in Geneva, NY is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications team. This full-time, hybrid role offers a 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with two work-from-home days after 90 days of training.

The Senior Graphic Designer will create marketing collateral for print and digital materials, manage content updates, and assist with campaigns from concept to delivery. A bachelor’s degree in graphic design is required, and nonprofit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts.
• Preferred: 9 years professional experience.
• Non-profit experience preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with web content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing and fundraising materials, newsletters, ads, web pages and email blasts.
• Update Marklund website content and assets.
• Produce marketing videos and event content as needed.
• Support campaigns from concept to print/digital execution.
• Deliver high-quality materials on tight deadlines.
• Assist at special events as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-centeredindividual for the position of Senior GraphicDesigner.This is afull-time positionbasedout of our Geneva facility. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00PM. A hybrid schedule is available with twowork-from-home days a week after completion of the 90 day trainingperiod. The salary for this role is $62,000- $65,000 based onqualifications and experience.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.

Position Overview

As part of the Marketing & Communications Department, the SeniorGraphic Designer designs marketing collateral for print and digitalmaterials following all branding guidelines and standards in supportof Marklund’s various services and programs.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilizes graphic design skills to help create marketing andfundraising materials, newsletters, ads, web pages and email blasts.
• Makes graphic and content updates to Marklund website.
• Produces marketing/event videos, including Top Hat Ball video content.
• Assists with campaigns from start to finish, developing concepts, designing assets and working with print/digital vendors.
• Produce high-quality materials while adhering to deadlines.
• Attends and assists at special events.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or Fine Arts
• Preferred: 9 years professional experience not including freelance/internships
• Non-profit experience is preferred
• Must be proficient in Adobe Suite software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must have experience in web content management systems.
