Description du poste

Job Description

Intercontinental Exchange is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team. This is a seasoned creative who brings ideas to the table, solves design problems with a clear point of view, and delivers work that connects to the business and the brand.

The ideal candidate will focus on our brand-level work: flagship events, large branding initiatives, and the ongoing evolution of the ICE brand across its business segments. They will also contribute to the team’s project queue, and will help shape how big creative ideas scale into everyday design solutions.

This candidate can explain the thinking behind their work, keep projects moving with little direction, and show up with polished, considered concepts that support what the business is trying to achieve. We are looking for someone who stays current with design trends, brings fresh perspective to a well-established brand, and understands how to balance innovation with consistency.

ICE takes a digital-first approach to marketing, so we are looking for a designer who understands the strengths and limits of digital channels and can speak the language of UX/UI, motion, email, and CMS, while also bringing strong print and environmental experience. This role reports to the Senior Operational Designer.

We value curiosity, ownership, and collaboration. You will have support from a creative leadership team that provides strategy and direction, and the room to bring your own ideas to the work.

Responsibilities
  • Solve problems and bring ideas forward
    • Arrive at kickoffs and reviews with concepts, options, and recommendations, not just questions.
    • Translate business and marketing objectives into creative solutions that are strategic, original, and grounded in the needs of the audience.
    • Use sketching, storyboarding, or quick mockups to share ideas early and spark collaboration.
  • Understand the business, the brand, and the rationale
    • Develop a working knowledge of our business lines, audiences, and goals so design decisions reflect them.
    • Explain the creative rationale behind the work to stakeholders, leadership, and internal clients with clarity and confidence.
    • Apply the brand guidelines and design system thoughtfully, and bring forward ideas on where the brand can grow and evolve.
  • Lead brand-level initiatives
    • Work with manager on flagship events, large branding initiatives, and brand evolution work, from early concept through final execution.
    • Develop creative systems for events and campaigns, including environmental, digital, print, presentation, and motion graphics.
    • Contribute to new brand and identity work, including sub-brands, logos, and visual language for new initiatives.
    • Partner with the Senior Operational Designer on creative direction and design decisions.
  • Scale ideas for everyday use
    • Work with the production design team lead to translate brand-level concepts into templates, toolkits, and guidance the broader team can use.
    • Help production designers understand the thinking behind new creative directions, so ideas carry through to everyday work.
    • Contribute to the team’s project queue as workload and priorities allow.
  • Communicate and stay organized
    • Scope projects, set realistic timelines, and keep stakeholders informed along the way.
    • Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
    • Participate in kickoffs, brainstorms, and post-campaign reviews, and help manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate across teams
    • Partner with Motion Graphics, Web, and Email teams to bring campaigns to life across channels.
    • Work with the broader marketing organization to keep the brand experience consistent.
  • Strengthen our systems and processes
    • Help maintain brand guidelines, design templates, and shared assets so they stay current and scalable.
    • Recommend tools, processes, or resources that improve speed and consistency.
    • Explore emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows, in ways that respect brand guidelines and company policy.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of professional design experience supporting integrated marketing programs across digital and print. Corporate or financial services experience is a plus.
  • A portfolio that shows strong concepts, clear problem solving, and the thinking behind the work, ideally including brand identity, event, or campaign system projects
  • Experience developing flexible design systems that scale across channels and teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma, including components, auto layout, and shared libraries
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, and Keynote
  • Strong foundation in layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
  • Familiarity with motion principles and the ability to design with animation in mind
  • Understanding of front-end web design, email template design, and digital accessibility standards
  • Ability to turn complex ideas and data into clear infographics and data visualizations
  • Knowledge of production processes for print, environmental, and digital media
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative ideas
  • Experience working within a design system and brand guidelines
  • Ability to travel as needed, including for events
