Job summary

Clark County's Department of Environment and Sustainability is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to support the Desert Conservation Program. The position will manage contract creation and execution, liaise with the Purchasing Department for procurement actions, ensure contractor compliance, and develop streamlined procurement processes.

The analyst will administer the division's federal grant awards, including quarterly reporting, grant modifications and no-cost extensions, grant close-out,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• Four years of full-time professional administrative, budgetary, operational analysis experience.
• Public agency experience and project lead experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex management and programmatic support to the County Manager, Board of Commissioners and/or a major department.
• Assist in developing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards; coordinate budget development and administer expenditures.
• Develop and implement funding and staffing requirements; prepare grant and funding requests; monitor activities and reporting requirements.
• Plan, organize and direct complex administrative, operational, budgetary or studies with county-wide impact.
• Review and analyze alternatives and advise on organizational structure, budgeting, staffing and policy development.
• Coordinate agenda items, respond to Commissioner requests, and represent the department and County in meetings with other agencies.
