Job summary

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to support the Director’s Office and manage federal funds. The role includes supervising two management analysts and an accounting assistant, overseeing 200+ contracts and subgrants, and performing complex budgeting, fiscal analysis, and reporting for federal funding.

Responsibilities also cover grant applications, federal draws, stakeholder coordination, and legislative impact analysis to inform policy

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze legislative implications.
• Review, write, revise, and recommend administrative policies or procedures.
• Prepare reports and correspondence.
• Develop, manage, review, and make recommendations on contracts and contracting process.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate policy development and implementation.
• Perform statistical and informational analysis and prepare analytical reports.
• Supervise and evaluate staff as appropriate.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
