Job summary

The Accounting Supervisor at Catholic Charities oversees day-to-day accounting operations for programs, grants, contracts, and agencies, providing supervision and training to Program Accountants and finance staff. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage monthly closes, grant spending, budgets, and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate Project IDs in Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in Accounting/Finance, nonprofit or grant-funded.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with federal grants/contracts and Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close and ensure accurate reporting.
• Supervise and train Program Accountants and finance staff.
• Coordinate grant and contract reporting for funders and auditors.
• Monitor payroll allocations and ensure compliance with budgets.
