Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator in Dallas, TX, with home-based work options. You will coordinate complex grant operations across program strategy, finance, compliance, and operations, translating program goals into budgets and processes that ensure accountability and impact.

You will monitor budgets, prepare reports, and collaborate with multiple teams to meet funder expectations, while leading or coaching staff on grant management and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, grant management, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Develops and maintains internal records and systems to support program management.
• Monitors budgets and spending, provides variance reporting and forecasting.
• Coordinates work with finance, legal, operations, and fundraising teams.
• Ensures audit readiness and effective program management.
• Acts as Voices technology coordinator to optimize grant systems.
• Builds strong relationships with internal teams, partners, and grantees.
• Leads or contributes to cross-functional initiatives and projects.
• Drives transparency and efficiency in grant-making processes.
• Provides coaching and oversight to team members.
