Job summary

Sarasota County's Housing Enhancement and Redevelopment Office is seeking a Sr. Grant Coordinator to develop, administer, and ensure compliance across federal housing and community development programs.

You’ll shape plans, manage contracts, monitor performance, and guide beneficiaries and subrecipients to meet regulatory requirements. This senior role may supervise staff as programs grow, coordinating with internal teams, partner agencies, and the public to drive progress and ensure sound

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, or a related field with 3 years of professional public or private sector experience.
• OR: Master's degree with 2 years of professional experience.
• OR: At management discretion, 7 years of professional experience may substitute for the required education.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates plans, multi-year strategic plans, and other required plans through independent research and analysis.
• Lead meetings with external and internal stakeholders and the public, and provide guidance and recommendations.
• Monitor fiscal and progress statuses of grant-funded activities and prepare reports per federal/state requirements.
