The Grants and Contracts Management Officer at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Office of Grants & Contracts Administration will lead the administration of sponsored awards, contracts, and related agreements, providing expert negotiation and oversight to support UAF's externally funded research enterprise.

This senior role requires deep knowledge of federal award requirements, 2 CFR 200, FAR, and sponsor policies, with a focus on mentoring staff, process improvements, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years progressively responsible experience required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Expert knowledge of sponsored-project regulations, funding mechanisms, and related terms is expected.

Responsabilités

• Lead administration of sponsored awards, contracts, subawards, and related agreements.
• Review and negotiate complex terms and conditions; interpret regulations and sponsor requirements.
• Coordinate legal, compliance, and institutional reviews; assist investigators and staff with complex issues.
