MCW is seeking a Grants & Contracts Accountant to provide financial, accounting, and administrative support for sponsored projects. The role ensures regulatory compliance, prepares external reports, invoices sponsors, and maintains accurate project accounting in Workday.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience, with strong Excel and analytical skills. On-campus presence is expected, with growth opportunities in the Grants and Contracts office.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and accounting software; strong analytical ability.

Responsabilités

• Prepare external financial reports for sponsor agencies, including monthly invoicing and status reports.
• Monitor expenditures for compliance with agency regulations and assist with reallocations as needed.
• Create invoices monthly and manage receivables with timely collections.
• Perform grant and contract setup, closeouts, and time/effort reporting in Workday.
