Candidates must have at least 5 years of grading experience and a minimum of 2 years as a foreman, with responsibilities including evaluating scopes, reviewing plans, and coordinating field personnel. The role requires ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are available, that equipment operates properly, and that safety regulations are followed on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years grading experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as foreman.
• Experience with dirt work, excavation, grade, surveying.
• Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises grading crew.
• Reports on work to Superintendent.
• Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
• Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.
• Monitors crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance in conjunction with Superintendent.
• Reports on time and materials.
• Monitors the implementation of safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, provides coaching for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
