Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead embedded and system software for medical devices in the Electrophysiology Division. You will own the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with QA, Regulatory, Hardware, and Test teams to deliver compliant, high‑quality solutions.

You should have 5+ years of software experience, strong C++/Qt, Linux, and GPU programming skills (OpenGL, CUDA).

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (or related field) preferred.
• 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
• Advanced object-oriented design in C++ and Qt programming experience.
• Experience developing applications on Linux operating systems.
• GPU‑accelerated programming experience (OpenGL/GLSL/CUDA).
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU programming.
• Strong 2D/3D OpenGL texture mapping knowledge.
• Solid background in computational geometry algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded and system-level software for medical devices.
• Translate requirements into software architecture and designs.
• Collaborate across QA, Regulatory, Hardware, and Test Engineering.
