Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Electrophysiology Division in Minneapolis. You will own embedded and system software for advanced cardiology devices and work across the full development lifecycle.

Apply strong software design to real-time algorithms, 3D visualization, and GUI work on Linux. Collaboration with QA, Regulatory, Hardware, and Test teams is essential for compliant, high-quality medical solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (Preferred).
• 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
• Advanced object-oriented design in C++ and Qt.
• Experience developing applications on Linux.
• GPU-accelerated programming using OpenGL, CUDA, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded and system software for medical devices.
• Design, implement, and test software components and real-time algorithms.
• Translate requirements into architectures and designs.
• Lead code reviews, verification, and release activities in line with medical device processes.
• Develop and execute software/test plans and ensure quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Hardware, and Test Engineering.
