Job summary

NVIDIA in the United States is seeking a Senior Developer Technology Engineer for the Public Sector to research and develop GPU-accelerated techniques for federal applications, including CFD, EDA, graph theory, weather/climate modeling, and AI in HPC. You will optimize core parallel algorithms and contribute across the full software stack, including libraries and tools.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ with strong software design, techniques and algorithms.
  • 5+ years in parallel programming (CUDA C/C++, OpenMP or MPI, or SHMEM).
  • Strong CS fundamentals: parallel data structures/algorithms, combinatorics, sparse representations.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with application developers to craft and optimize core parallel algorithms for GPUs, including reference code and full software stack contributions.
  • Collaborate with architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams to influence design and performance.
  • Occasional travel for conferences and on-site visits with developers.
