Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Senior Developer Technology Engineer for the Public Sector to advance GPU-accelerated workloads. You will drive research and optimization of parallel algorithms and data structures for CFD, EDA, graph analytics, and AI in HPC, contributing across libraries and applications.

Qualifications

MS or PhD degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or STEM field.
Fluent in C/C++ with strong software design and algorithm knowledge.
5+ years of parallel programming experience (CUDA C/C++, OpenMP, MPI or SHMEM).
Strong fundamentals in parallel data structures, algorithms, and sparse representations.
Passion for optimizing code through parallel programming.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with application developers to craft and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures for GPUs.
Work with architecture, research, libraries, tools, and systems teams to influence design and performance models.
Occasional travel for conferences and on-site developer visits.
