Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a creative and highly motivated engineer to own boot software for SOCs and GPUs. You will design, validate, and secure boot and related firmware across automotive,embedded, and data center platforms.

Collaborate across architecture, software, and hardware teams to shape the next generation of NVIDIA System-on-Chips. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in bare-metal firmware, PCIE/ACPI/ARM‑RISC‑V experience, strong C skills, and defensive security programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency in bare-metal firmware development, particularly with PCIE, ACPI and ARM/RISC-V technologies.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, DMA, etc).
• Expertise in C programming languages, coupled with outstanding debugging skills.
• Defensive security programming skills
• We are seeking candidates with excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate SOC & GPU Boot and Security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
• Participate actively in the new silicon lifecycle, spanning pre-silicon simulation/emulation to silicon power-on bring-up phases.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues within the Boot stack, ensuring detailed operation.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, software, and hardware design teams to enhance the next generation of NVIDIA System-on-Chips.
