Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a creative and highly motivated engineer to join the SOC System Software team, focusing on boot software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms. You’ll design, implement, and validate boot and security stacks to drive reliable silicon bring-up and ongoing product reliability.

Partner with architecture, software, and hardware teams to push the next generation of NVIDIA SoCs, contributing to AI, graphics, and autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency in bare-metal firmware development, particularly with PCIE, ACPI and ARM/RISC-V technologies.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, DMA, etc).
• Expertise in C programming languages, coupled with outstanding debugging skills.
• Defensive security programming skills
• We are seeking candidates with excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate SOC & GPU Boot and Security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
• Participate actively in the new silicon lifecycle, spanning pre-silicon simulation/emulation to silicon power-on bring-up phases.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues within the Boot stack, ensuring detailed operation.
