Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Senior Staff GPU Architect – Machine Learning at Samsung Austin Research and Development Center (SARC) to lead ML-driven hardware features for premium mobile GPUs.

You will collaborate across hardware, software, and research teams to optimize performance, power, and scalability for next-generation AI workloads such as LLMs and image classification. This exempt, full-time role offers a competitive base pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience or 9+ with MS or 7+ with PhD in relevant field.
• Knowledge of ML principles and architectures.
• Experience with workload analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of ML-driven GPU features.
• Collaborate across hardware, software and research teams.
• Develop production-ready GPU architectures for AI workloads such as LLMs and image classification.
• Advance performance, power efficiency and scalability of next-generation GPUs.
