Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Accelerator Engineer to own the GPU component lifecycle across AI accelerator platforms, from defining hardware, firmware, and diagnostics to qualification and field deployment.

You will lead fleet-scale failure analysis, set health metrics, and drive vendor engagement with cross-team collaboration while mentoring engineers on GPU failure analysis methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• 7+ years of hardware design and development experience for server, compute, or large-scale infrastructure platforms

Responsibilities

• Own the GPU component lifecycle from hardware definition to production readiness and fleet deployment.
• Lead fleet-scale failure analysis, establish health metrics, and define dashboards and reporting.
• Engage with vendors and cross-team leadership; present updates to senior leadership and mentor engineers.
