ATLAS Navigators, LLC in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Senior Associate with substantial governmental audit experience to lead engagements from planning through fieldwork and reporting. This onsite role requires in-office attendance five days a week across our Colorado offices.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal daily guidance, collaborating with managers and partners to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Substantial governmental audit experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAS and governmental accounting standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA license or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete governmental audit engagements from planning through fieldwork and reporting within established timelines.
• Document internal control evaluations, substantive testing results, and conclusions in audit working papers.
• Prepare draft audit reports and review financial statements for manager or partner.
• Present audit issues, research, and resolutions for review.
• Coordinate client information requests and communicate engagement progress and deadlines.
