Job summary

FIS seeks an experienced Proposal Writer to craft and edit content for state government RFP responses. You will work with sales, product managers, and subject‑matter experts to develop compliant, persuasive material for procurement evaluators.

You will translate complex solutions into clear, evaluator-friendly language, manage messaging for submissions, and coordinate with the writing team to meet deadlines. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of proven proposal writing experience.
• Experience with large, complex state government RFP proposals.
• Government EBT experience.
• Experience with content management tools.
• APMP or Shipley methodology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write compliant, winning responses to state government RFPs.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and SMEs to craft content.
