Job summary

Science Systems and Applications Inc. (SSAI) is seeking an experienced Government Property Manager/Project Manager to lead GFP/CAP lifecycle management under FAR-based requirements in support of prime contracts.

You will oversee property records, inventories, and compliance, coordinate with contract administrators and program managers, and train custodians to ensure accountability across government and SSAI-owned assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 11+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Expert-level understanding of Federal government property management regulations and systems.
• 5+ years leading property management functions across Federal property management areas.
• 5+ years leading people in small to mid-sized organizations.
• 8+ years leading cross-functional teams in service delivery with project management methods.
• Active PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GFP/CAP lifecycle: acquisition, receipt, tracking, use, maintenance, inventory, transfer, closeout.
• Ensure property records, reports, and systems comply with FAR, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee inventories, resolve discrepancies, document findings, and obtain approvals before use or movement.
• Coordinate with program teams to align property activities with contracts and schedules.
• Develop property procedures and train custodians on accountability.
• Support internal/external audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of federal property management regulations and drive process improvements.
• Provide leadership and training to subcontract admins and property personnel.
