Job summary

Nava is seeking a Program Manager to lead the delivery and client engagement efforts on a group of strategic government contracts. You will be responsible for client trust, staffing, contract management and growth, while coordinating delivery across multiple projects and teams in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Custom Software or Cloud infrastructure programs/projects.
• Experience working with or for state government agencies, with solid understanding of government contracting, compliance, and audit trails.
• Experience leading and growing agile development teams and managing a project at scale.
• Experience leading large-scale projects with milestones, dependencies, and integrations under risk/scale.
• Experience using agile frameworks like scrum, kanban, or SAFe; familiarity with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Exceed expectations of government partners; cultivate trust and maintain situational awareness at agency level.
• Identify and mitigate risks; collaborate with delivery team and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Engage clients to understand needs, solve issues, and communicate progress transparently.
• Grow program with surge CLINs, option years, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Collaborate across projects to anticipate and solve cross-team problems.
• Support delivery environments built on mutual trust with partners.
• Scale efforts through a team of PMs and delivery leads.
• Manage contracts and finances in portfolio with finance; coordinate modifications.
• Set and uphold standards for delivery excellence and client service.
• Apply Nava policies at the program level; contribute to company objectives.
