Job summary

QinetiQ US, a leading defense and security technology company, is hiring a Contracts Specialist in the United States. You will support the Government in source selections, contract and subcontract management, and negotiations, working closely with technical teams and senior leadership.

Ideal candidates have strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, extensive contract administration experience, and the ability to interpret terms and develop acquisition strategies for DoW/USSF programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with >10 years in related fields.
• MS/MA with >8 years in related fields.
• PhD or JD with >2 years in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government to execute source selections under FAR 9.505-4 and coordinate meetings.
• Provide contract and subcontract management support.
• Assist Government Contracting Officers in negotiations, administration, and execution of contracts.
• Provide guidance and determinations for program and business teams.
• Advise management on rights, obligations, risk mitigation and strategy.
• Manage existing IDIQ contracts and assist with acquisition strategies.
