E-Space is seeking a Government Programs Project Manager to lead a government contracts program in Santa Clara, CA. You will own the integrated master schedule across space, ground, and payload, manage end-to-end deliverables, and coordinate with the government program office.

Daily work with systems engineers, contracts, and security, with occasional travel and a fast-paced environment. 5+ years in aerospace/defense programs and US person status with ability to obtain security clearance are

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing government programs in aerospace or defense.
• Direct experience with OTA/FAR/DFARS contracts and modifications.
• Single-program lifecycle experience.
• Integrated master schedule that engineers use.
• Customer-facing program point of contact.
• Ability to deliver in a matrix organization.
• Systems engineering basics: requirements flow-down.
• Adaptable in fast-moving environments.
• Clear, direct communication with stakeholders.
• US person status and ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated master schedule across space, ground, and payload.
• Manage contract deliverables end to end (CDRLs, reports, milestones).
• Serve as government program POC; handle status and reviews.
• Track cost and schedule performance against the award.
• Maintain the risk register and mitigations.
• Lead gated review lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Coordinate with mission systems engineer and engineering teams.
• Collaborate across contracts, finance, export compliance and security.
• Contribute to scope and task orders for follow-on work.
