Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Contracts Manager to support the Homeland Security Sector in Herndon, VA. The role focuses on the contract life cycle, including NDAs, teaming agreements, proposals, and negotiations, with leadership responsibilities across cross‑functional teams.

Applicants should have 7+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and an active TS/SCI with Poly. Onsite work 3–4 days/week is required at the Herndon facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS).
• Experience with negotiation and administration of Government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the lifecycle of government contracts from NDAs to closeout.
• Provide guidance on contract terms and applicable legal requirements (FAR).
• Lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment to ensure compliance and mission success.
• Advise program managers and subcontract professionals on contract terms and obligations.
